WE ANSWERED THE CALL is the true story by Colonel James Wilhite, USAR (Ret.) of success and hope from Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
Unexpectedly called up from his life as a professor of Education, Wilhite is deployed to a war zone in the capital city of Kabul. Once there, he and a dedicated team of Afghan, American, and Allied colleagues use their diversity, savvy, and drive to overcome all obstacles and build a symbol of hope – the National Military Academy of Afghanistan.
With the creation of Crown Jewel Productions, LLC, Colonel Wilhite and producer/writer Scott Holmgren are working to bring this remarkable story to life as a documentary and a feature film.
